Laserfiche® Document Management
Laserfiche® document management software helps organizations run smarter by streamlining
processes for managing documents, records and workflow.
Once installed, Laserfiche enables users to instantly access documents without leaving
their desk. Documents are scanned and saved as an image file (a picture of the original
document) and as a text file created through the software’s OCR (character recognition)
capabilities. Files are organized into indexed file folders and can easily be found
by typing in a key word or phrase in the easy-to-use search field.
Using secure web access, organizations can then share information with remote offices,
business partners and customers, while user- and role-based security options ensure
compliance with government- and industry-mandated standards, including Department
of Defense (DoD) standard 5015.2.
